2.  Transcendental Literary Analysis Pre-Write 

Reflect on the writing prompt.
How do the authors portray ideas of the individual and society?
What relationships and connections can you create between the different pieces?

Select at least THREE works to base your essay on.
Then, use a concept map or three column chart to organize your information.
Give examples and find quotes from the texts that relate to the essays purpose.
Use this to make connections and begin drafting.
