1.  Different Types of Diction
Use the link above to take Cornell notes on the different types of diction.
2.  Diction in the Great Gatsby
You will evaluate significant quotes in the Great Gatsby from chapter three.Make a copy of the document above and move it to your assignment folder. Then, identify five quotes that you find interesting or significant.Analyze the quote to include the type of diction used and the meaning it creates.The first one is done as an example for you.Eventually we will create a collaborative class chart.
3.Watch The Great Gatsby

As you watch the film version, compare and contrast it to the original F. Scott Fitzgerald version.
Keep a three column chart tracking the similarities and differences.  
By the end of the movie you should have a total 20 points.
